It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

by Notorious Spinks on 04.11.2011

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Sheila at Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Still reading Jane Eyre .  I will be reading this one for a while.  The Prissy Book Snob & I are reading it and chatting about it on Fridays.  This week we’ll chat about chapter 4-10.  So far I love this book…oh Jane…

I’m halfway through How Shakespeare Changed Everything. I was busy Saturday and couldn’t participate in the readathon officially. But when I got home about 10pm I did start this book and read to the halfway mark.

I also started these books: The Gateway: Discover the Power to Create an Outrageously Prosperous and Happy Life by Robert Sidell, Girls Like Us: Fighting for a World Where Girls Are Not for Sale, an Activist Finds Her Calling and Heals Herself by Rachel Lloyd, and Skintervention: The Personalized Solution for Healthier, Younger, and Flawless-Looking Skin by Scott-Vincent Borba.

My goal is to finish all of these books by Saturday… It’s raining here in Memphis today so after I come home from my part-time gig I’m going to settle down with a cup of coffee and get my read on for a few hours. I have to increase my reading because I’m falling so far behind…

I finished True You: A Journey to Finding and Loving Yourself by Janet Jackson so I’ll post the review for it this week along with some other reviews.

Here is my review of The Freedom Writers Diary.

So what are you reading?

I want to. I don’t want to watch before I finish the book but I’m scared if I wait too late it will be on Netflix before I get to see it.

Can you believe that I never read Jane Eyre?! It’s on my NOOK but I haven’t “cracked” it open yet. I plan to see the movie too.

Honey that book is so many pages. A chunkster for sure! I wouldn’t dare try to read that on a ereader. I bought the hardback. LOL! I can see my eyes crossing like a pistol looking at ereader.

Ann,

I read Wilkerson’s WOOS in February. I consider myself a fast reader and it took me nearly all month!
